Bodega Roandi
  • Made with the variety GODELLO, one of the oldest varieties in the world. The wines of this variety are very structured wines, large and long in the aftertaste. The vineyards are settled on lands where slate slates predominate and shales. South orientation, and altitude between 500-600 meters.

    DONA DELFINA, is elaborated by rigorously selecting the grapes, adjusting previously the yields in a strain to no more than 3 kg / strain, with suitable pressures for the obtaining of high-quality yam. The elaboration is made in stainless steel tanks and after a period of rest in the bottle, it goes out to the market to show its freshness and vividness.

    NOTE TASTING: Straw yellow color, bright. Aromas of white flowers and fruits of bone, on a background of aromatic herbs. Refreshing. In the mouth are repeated the sensations of nose, wide entrance, very fruity and fresh. Persistent in the mouth, with a bitter finish, characteristic of the variety GODELLO.

  • DONA DELFINA ROSADO, is the tranquil pink wine of Roandi. Made from grapes selected from MENCÍA and ALBARELLO, a maceration is carried out at low temperature and a light pressing to achieve the bright color characteristic of this wine. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tank at a temperature of 16ºC, obtaining a very aromatic wine, fresh and alive.

    NOTE TASTING: Pleasant raspberry color, with pink hues, limpid and shiny. Intense nose, with memories of red fruits like currants, cherries, strawberries or raspberries. Floral souvenir to roses. In the mouth, it is soft, fresh and balanced. Perfect companion with rice and pasta, as with vegetables such as eggplant or salads, not forgetting the harmony we get with sushi.

  • FLAVIA de Roandi is a fresh, lively, young wine. It comes from our own vineyards, from new plantations, where the MENCÍA grape (85%) predominates and a combination of native varieties.

    FLAVIA takes its name from a nearby place, where the Camino de Santiago Road Winter Path travels part of its vineyards. The plantations are new, less than 10 years, in a land where slate slates predominate and shales. After the manual selection of the grapes, the elaboration takes place in stainless steel tanks, passing later to a aging in American Oak barrel of 5 months. After a period of rest in the bottle, it leaves to the market to show its freshness and vividness.

    NOTE TASTING: Clear and shiny, medium layer, youthful tones. It has a medium aromatic intensity, emphasizing the red fruits, blackberries, currants; Light touch of milk and fruit passes (figs). Softwood of American oak. Soft mouth, with candied fruit. Very fresh and with a certain drying sensation at the end, typical of the tannin of the wood.

    ALENTO 2012 belongs to a limited edition to 4,000 bottles of GODELLO (100%), high expression. Accompany any fish dish, being especially recommended with any dish of birds.

    NOTE TASTING: Golden straw color, bright, clean. Aromas to fruits, apple and flowers. Aniseed touches that refresh the nose, combined with a subtle and sweet touch of wood. After the manual selection of the grapes, the elaboration is made in stainless steel tanks, after which it is aged in a French oak barrel of 5 months.     NOTE TASTING: Clear and shiny, very high layer, lively cherry red and purple trim. Nose complex, very varietal.   • DOMUS was born from the illusion of new facilities, a new house (Domus in Latin). It is the first wine Crianza of the winery, made with our best grapes of SOUSÓN, ALBARELLO and MENCÍA, from our older vineyards, in a slatey soil, poor in organic matter, with an average altitude of 600 m. The harvest was carried out at low temperatures, with selection in vineyard and in winery. For the elaboration, it is begun by a maceration prefermentativa in cold after the crushing and destemming of the grapes.

    NOTE TASTING: Intense purple color with violet trim and medium layer. Bright, clean tone. Nose complex, very varietal. Average intensity. Vanilla and toasted aromas, as well as ripe red fruits and floral contributions. Exotic notes provided by breeding in noble woods. In the mouth is very balanced, round, silky, prevailing fruit.

    Its moderate acidity with respect to a cava, allows to maintain the fine bubble in mouth, and to appreciate its harmony and delicate flavor without masking its delicate flavor.

    NOTE TASTING: Clear and bright, greenish color. Very intense, with notes of white fruits, herbal notes and a bakery background.
